Real cities have greenmarkets every week--even in colder months.

Oh, yeah, that asparagus in November is farm fresh :P What do they have, potatoes, cauliflower, and broccoli? Maybe some fennel?

When we went a couple of weeks ago, they had fingerling potatoes, ramps, fresh herbs, all sorts of baby salad greens from mesclun to arugula to lamb lettuce and microgreens, squash blossoms, all sorts of flowers (cut and in flats for planting), AND booths from local organic poultry farms, a bison ranch, a winery up in the Finger Lakes region, organic bakeries, and fishmongers. AND EVERYTHING WAS FRESH, SEASONAL, AND YUMMY!

Hee.
