After watching a NOW show with David Brancaccio (DB), I think this guy is either just a meek, non-confrontational Democrat or a Republican wolf in sheep's clothing. Remember, DB came from Marketplace which has right-wing written all over it. CPB,PBS,and NPR are being pushed to the right ever so slowly. Bill Moyer's retirement is no more voluntary than was George Tenet's resignation for "personal reasons". Stop contributing to PBS and/or NPR through your local station(s). Send them less or no money and remind them in writing that you as an intelligent listener, understands the transition to the "right" that is occuring. Give your public broadcasting money to Pacifica, your local public (non-NPR affiliate)radio station, or www.FAIR.org. Send a copy of your check (with account # obscurred) to your NPR affiliate and explain that when they return to a balanced presentation of news and events, then they can expect to get some of this money that you are donating elsewhere.
