Urban constellations
i am sure that most of you saw this on Mr. Gaiman's journal, but it is so damned cute!

The Animals, made up using tube lines, stations and junctions were spotted by Paul Middlewick some 15 years ago. The original Animal, the Elephant' was 'discovered' while Paul was staring at the tube map during his daily journey to work.
Too bad the T map is not quite as rich with possibility. Nor is BART. NYC subway maps have promise.

'Visited States' Map
Sorry i have been delinquent. PLEASE don't ask about the gym. :( Suzi and mom sent some good stuff; i will come back and post that when i can. Work is NUTS.
Jenblossom posted this, which is way fun. i used her criterion of having at least eaten a meal there, and i decided meals on AMTRAK do not count. Though i think i have done more of these states across the top. VA and WV, too. i am probably better than 66%, but those little states in the NE region still confuse me. That's what happens when you are a kid out west, you run out of steam when you get up into the corner ;)
